Can't have multiple flask mtx effects if it's the same base?

Hi,

Are there limitations to having multiple flask mtx of the same flask base type? I know they have the same buff icon but whenever one of the flasks is in use the other one's mtx effect is overwritten by the other. Specially if Mageblood is equipped then the effect equipped on the progenesis is nowhere to be seen. What's up with that?
