Does Eldritch Altar quantity affect Strongboxes?

Do the increased item quantity upsides of Eldritch Altars affect the loot from Strongboxes?

This issue being raised in global chat has been nearly a daily occurrence this league. Many players have come out anecdotally saying that yes, it does.

The wiki page for Strongboxes (https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Strongbox) states:

"

Like chests, increased Item Quantity from gear do not affect the number of items dropped from a strongbox.

The wiki page for Chests (https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Chest) further states:

"

Chests generally drop items at the same level as the area level, and are affected by modifiers to area item quantity. They are not affected by player quantity.

Both of these statements are backed up with reference to community sourced data from 8-10 years ago. They reflect general wisdom that I have heard repeated over and over throughout my time playing.

The wiki page for Eldritch Altars (https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Eldritch_altar) lists four upsides that affect item quantity. They are tagged as:

All of these include the text "PlayerIncreasedQuantity". However, these also link to individual pages about each one, and on those pages the affected stat ID is:

This seems to indicate that Eldritch Altars would indeed affect Strongbox quantity, and that the PlayerIncreasedQuantity tag is simply a misnomer by GGG.

Can anyone link to data collected since the introduction of Eldritch Altars that addresses this issue or provide other information that lays the issue to rest?

You can see altars apply map quantity instead of player quantity when you open the map modifier overview ingame before and after clicking an altar.

If map quantity increases strongbox loot then altars also increase strongbox loot.
