Skill Gem Stash Tab - Scroll Bar Disappears
When interacting with the Skill Gem Stash Tab, the scroll bar can disappear under specific circumstances. Bug # 2,954,802,765
Steps to Reproduce: - Fill the Skill Gem stash tab with enough gems to exceed the display capacity, while sorted for Base Gem Level. - Arrange the gems such that the display places a gem group (base level) heading along the bottom of the stash tab without displaying any gems from that group. Symptom: - When the bottom-most gem group heading aligns with the bottom of the skill gem tab, the scroll bar for the Skill Gem tab disappears. This is despite the fact that many skill gems remain below for multiple gem groups (e.g. base gem levels 10, 8, 4, 1). - While the scroll bar is missing, it is also not possible to scroll the tab vertically using the mouse wheel. - Removing a skill gem to change this alignment (e.g., where a row displays a single gem) causes the scroll bar to reappear. Expected Result: - The vertical scroll bar should always appear for the Skill Gem stash tab whenever it is not possible to display all gems stored within the tab. It should not disappear and reappear based on the specific layout of partially displayed items. Mitigation attempted: This bug was discovered in the Runic Gauntlet SSF HC league in the past few hours, but the timing could simply be down to when gems were added to the tab to create this layout. - Changing the layout by adding or removing gems can restore or remove the scroll bar. The alignment of the heading appears to be the harbinger for when this problem occurs (such that no gems fit or are displayed under the heading). - Likewise, enabling or disabling any of the colour filter buttons on the tab will only affect the problem if they change the layout condition. - Whether the tab displays a full row or half row of gems at the bottom does not matter. The scroll bar only disappears when no gems are displayed (none fit) under the visible heading. - Choosing the 'Base Level' sort option was simply the one for which I discovered the problem, and likely not exclusive for this issue. - Changing the game resolution or scaling option does not appear to affect the problem. In the past, some graphical display issues appear at 4K resolution but not other resolutions, but it doesn't appear to affect this problem. - Changing the rendering type does not appear to affect the problem. - Completing a Pack Check against my client did not resolve the problem. I am running the standalone PC client on Windows 10 x64 Professional. Last bumped on Oct 4, 2024, 4:58:42 AM
