The ribbon spool quest... Never spawned.

I was in a party with my friend and i think he did the quest and now the ribbon won't spawn. so i cannot complete the quest. *gulp* Help

Check your quest log, what are your current objectives for act 3?

Instance of area are created for 8 to 15 minutes, you just need to wait to create a new area.
You can also open the instance manager by clicking the entrance to the area while holding the ctrl key. |
