"Gain 49% of Weapon Physical Damage as Extra Damage of each Element" enchant and spells

Hey guys,

couldnt find anything on the google, so gonna give it a go here:

will the kingsmarch two-handed mace enchant "Gain x% of Weapon Physical Damage as Extra Damage of each Element" add damage to spells, or is it only for attacks with the weapon?
