Dear GGG, can we get some info on the 3.26 release date and your plans moving forward?
At Exilecon 2023 you announced that you wanted to return to the 13 week league cycle for PoE1 leagues after that Exilecon. But since then, every league has been extended by at least 3 weeks and many people are already speculating that the current league 3.25 will be extended by at least 7 weeks.
The current league has been running for almost 11 weeks and so far we have gotten 0 information on the planned length of this league. I am excited for PoE2 but I am also disappointed that we haven't gotten back to the 13 week cycles. And at this point I am losing faith that it will ever happen. Can you please give us some information on your plans for the future in regards to PoE1 leagues? Last bumped on Oct 25, 2024, 4:32:36 AM

Mid December is the expected end date for Settlers. POE DB has countdown every league.

Thank you for your reply. You might not be aware of this, but poedb is not an official source. The timers that they set for each league are nothing more than an educated guess as they have no inside knowledge. I talked to the owner of poedb and he confirmed that to me himself.
I am hoping that we can get some information from GGG. Also on what they think poe1 league durations will be going forward. Are they still trying to return to the 13 week cycle but just couldnt manage to do it so far? |

We are about to hit week 12 of the league soon.
With leagues being 4 months or longer now you are likely not going to get any information about the next league just yet. Maybe in 2-3 weeks. PoE2 isn't fully done yet and GGG did mentioned that they might return to the 3 months cycle once the game is released. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun. I'm pretty sure u won't get an official answer before the PoE2 EA Livestream which should be in roughly 2-3 weeks.
Also I expect it to not interfere with the PoE2 EA Launch, so a new league before Decembre is pretty unlikely. Last edited by Sadaukar#2191 on Oct 15, 2024, 2:05:08 PM

" What they actually said during Exilecon was that they intended to go back to the 3 month cycle after that Exilecon, so before the release of PoE2. |

While I expect PoE2 to be the best game in its subgenre, I'm predicting that PoE1 will remain more fun for me.
Hence I'm more craving for a 3.26 update than a PoE2 EA release. Ofc I'll try it and I won't be surprised if I enjoy it a lot, but I'm concerned it won't be at the same level I enjoy PoE1. With all that I'm joining the thread author and I really would like even a short and vague schedule for the PoE1 published. |

And Poe 1 and Poe 2 were supposed to be integrated and that didn't happen (sounded like good reasons) but that also makes me wonder if they really are going to keep poe1 going. I don't see them keeping to a timeline and developing for both esp as they have commented on how much easier it will be to add/change things with the new engine. I honestly wouldn't be too surprised if an eod is announced or more specifically a new league not announced after 1 maybe 2 more.

When PoE will be "ended" i hope for offline client. And it will be very OK with me.

I'm on the same page with others, I would like the announcement of next league but I believe it won't be before december aswell since poe2 early access is in 3 weeks and I don't think it would make sense to release a new league at the same time as players would be conflicted between wanting to play both games.
At least I am glad the long league is settlers since the league mechanic is pretty nice and the base game keeps improving, HC trade isn't deserted yet ^^ |
