Automated ssf build suggestions please
After having to slow right down with my POE time due to my button pressing hand causing issues im trying to get back in to the game, im currently playing a power siphon miner and its working as long as i dont play for too long at a time.
What im looking for is something thats automated to the point i can just mouse round the screen and pick up loot as i really enjoy the progression and loot hunting. It needs to be SSF viable and with as few button pressings as possible. I found a potential option in the ice nova of frost bolts but thats going to need some lab time to hopefully get but i dont mind trying to grind for it. Hopefully someone will know of a fairly tanky with decent clear speed build i can try put together along side my miner as having something more automated will give my hand a break while still being able to play. RF chieftain. you just walk around and things explode. use fire trap every now and then for tougher mobs

Any bleed build will serve you well as you get a lot of damage with little to no investment or extra hard grinding.
Early damage is more than enough to crush the basic content with ease and you don't have to invest a lot of time to reach the peak numbers of dmg. Most of all melee bleed builds also don't require a lot of key presses, but I guess it's not really hard to beat trap and mine builds in terms of input. Physical weapons are also pretty free this league with recombs being a thing, something that's quite handy in ssf. Rf is kinda mediocre since the ability changes and is going to take you a lot of time and grinding to reach decent dmg numbers to not end up as a zdps in ssf. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

Any bleed build.

By bleed build are we talking bladestorm?
Any build in particular that would be good? Im not looking to take on end game content just something to drift through some maps and see how far i can get and give my hand a break from the constant throwing of mines which in hindsight wasnt the best choice considering my hand issues.
" he means melee bleed where you need to constantly press 5 different warcry buttons. yes you can automate the warcry but to get the most out of them, you need to manually press them at the right times Last edited by Lyutsifer665 on Oct 16, 2024, 4:33:31 AM

RF Chieftain is probably your best bet. The only buttons you need to press are for mobility (if you want to use any) and Fire Trap for Single Target increase.

I think there are some counter attack skills where the char gets hit and it retaliates and the odd button press isnt so bad, its the constant move>press>move>press thats taking its toll.
RF has been good for me for quite a few characters and a valid suggestion, i`d like to try something else though. What im hoping for is something OP and broke with minimal buttons (ideally none) so that i can just chill and character build and do some of the middle game content without wincing while gaming, i should really give up on these type of games but i enjoy the new content and trying new things with it.
" But please don´t level with that.. its.. painful. Really painful. But its still needs a bit of button pressing its nothing automated.
" Lacerate, dual strike, earthquake just to name some. You could even play it on leapslam once you got some gear or use spectral shield throw if you want something more ranged based. Basically all pure physical melee skills work and you can pick whatever you like the most, some do peak earlier while a few abilities might feel clunky on a shoelace gear for specific cases. You do gain damage a lot faster " Tell us that you don't know much about bleed builds without telling us that you don't know much about bleed builds. For starters you don't use 5 warcries on any bleed build as there's no need to do so. You use your main ability and maybe a movement ability if required and that's about it. You might use one or at best two for very high end game content on a shoestring budget to gain a little bit of offensive or defensive boost via the warcry buff effects but it's completely optional and not required. And with high end game content I mean Ubers and juiced t17 maps or possibly deep delving. But if you make use of those you can make use of support gems and abilities to basically make them last a really long time. Doing Uber fights on shoelace week one gear at best becomes even more uninteresting for ssf as you don't require any of the Uber loot for those builds. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun. Last edited by Pashid on Oct 16, 2024, 9:16:58 AM
