Maven's Boss Progress (newb question)

I have defeated the Constrictor, and Baran twice now. I'm new to the endgame, but why am I not receiving completion notices upon my First defeat of these bosses? For instance, The Purifier and the Pit of the Chimera turned white, and I received notice, but on these last two I haven't. The button was selected, and I used Explorer's Scouting Reports to enter the maps through Kirac Missions.

What is going on? In fact, I've defeated others beyond the Constrictor, and Baran, also with no final notice. Like I said I'm new to the game and I don't have anyone online to talk with (in game).

You cant get Maven Witness per Kirac missions. The buttons dont matter for these. You also wont see Maven during the boss fight.
