Power Siphon build - Need some help pls

Hello exiles,

Need your help!

1. I'm currently playing a Power Siphon build (mines), Trickster. Fun build! :D

If you were in my place, which setup would you choose and why?

Power Siphon
Volatility
Charged Mines
Added Lightning
Locus Mine
Trap and Mine Damage(more damage based on stats!)

Power Siphon
Volatility
Charged Mines
Added Lightning
Locus Mine
Elemental Damage with Attack(less damage based on stats!)

2. The Eternal Struggle, Onyx Amulet. Since for me Searing Exarch is dominant, I have "Kill enemies that have 15% or lower Life on Hit"! Is it worth it, since Power Siphon has its own Culling Strike? Does 5% make such a big difference?!

thnx

Honestly none of those options :)

Id go for woke lightning pen instead to apply exposure.
This enables the lightning mastery for inc crit vs exposed enemies (arcing blows wheel), which may or may not be needed to overcap crit to the point where you can equip Marylenes Fallacy with no downsides to it and enjoy the gigantic crit multi this amulet provides.
This should result in way more single target dmg.

As far as mapclear goes I do prefer Fury Valve in the amulet slot since dmg isnt really an issue at all in this scenario.
1. Your setup should be as follows in almost every scenario:
Power Siphon
Locus Mines
Charged Mines
Volatility
Awakened Lightning Penetration
Trap and Mine Damage

On my entire journey from lvl30 to multimirror gear I've encountered a single situation where I'd swap to a pierce gem to get more clearspeed. There really is no reason to go with a different setup.

2. No, that amulet is terrible for you. Use a Marylene's Fallacy if you have enough crit chance to still be capped or Fury Valve for coverage or a life, crit multi rare for defense.
I went with Marylene's Fallacy from yellow maps until I swapped to a simplex amulet.

TL;DR: Orbaal is right.
Thanks guys, you enlightened me! :)
