Advice on my slayer PLEASE.

So i have made about 110different slayer builds so far this league. I ended up with my current with real nice damage i think. However i get 1 shot too often for my liking. I am down to my last 24 div orbs and still feel i can not 80+ quant t16 without dying almost every map. ANY advice will be much appreciated.

Seems ok some of your gear isn't the best but its w/e. Passive tree wise I would probably not get the crit nodes you got and instead just take damage ones. Gear wise idk what I would suggest changing but I guess I would try to get more damage over getting more defenses. Slayer LS isn't really the most tanky build but it can survive your just generally better off focusing on damage imo.

Oh and I noticed you don't have much regeneration that might help you die less if you picked up the evasion/armor mastery regen node it's one of my fav passive nodes in the game that can single handedly solve regen issues on builds.

This seems more like your character on POB: https://pobb.in/QsUfLCjeqNux

In order to have a closer estimate of Lightning Strike DPS with returning projectiles, I duplicated the LS skill setup twice (by pressing Ctrl+C Ctrl+V):

1x Projectile - This is the main setup when you attack at some distance.
1x Melee - This is your ancestral mirage hitting the same enemy.
2x Returning projectiles - These are the returning projectiles from both attacks above, with a 61% less damage multiplier set on your chest.

To keep things real:

- Sigil stacks set to 2 because you won't always wanna take more than 2 seconds for 99% of enemies. I suspect you might not be spending enough mana to raise the stacks too.
- Frost Shield ticked off because I couldn't see how you have enough energy shield to keep it up. Blood Rage alone would drain all your ES upon entering maps.
- Rage is 10 because I didn't find more than 1 source(s) of rage generation. It would take you too long to get max rage. Correct me if I'm wrong.

My conclusion of this build:

- Damage is decent but really depends on every buffs and returning projectiles lining up nicely. I didn't tick Vaal Lightning Strike because it is hard to put that into numbers (same for what I'll do on Unbound Avatar builds, just takes too long to fully stack Unbound Fury), so I acknowledge your actual clear speed and damage is more.
- Defense is twice what I had. You shouldn't have trouble with T16s. Are you over-juicing and activating altars without reading the mods?

This was me: https://pobb.in/sk-qSaiaGJJS

Things to consider:

- Your movement speed is quite low without silver flask ON. The "Movement Speed per Frenzy Charge" passive might help.
- You still have enough mana to fit Vitality aura into the build. Some consistent life regen should make the build more comfy to run with Blood Rage instead of relying on Enduring Cry.

What I would do with those divines?

- Look into Poe.ninja for ideas.
- Research on the daggers with runesmithing to spam Vaal Lightning Strike, "Socketed Vaal Skills have 100% reduced Soul Gain Prevention Duration". It's about 30 divines.
- Consider Squire weapons too: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Settlers/lqMvVppfV

Hi Jeerhino
Thanks for the advice. I did make some progress. I was looking at POE ninja and found some people playing with heatshiver and southbound gloves. Does this look viable in your opininion. Pasting the PoB for that if you can advice what will be better option for me please.
Thanks again for replying.

Southbound gloves probably means the build is being played in party play with a group so their build could need completely different things then a solo build. I would generally stay away from it. With that said heatshiver is still a good item even after the nerfs to it. I personally wouldn't change your build too much it seemed fine really for what it was a slayer claw build.
I don't know anything about slayer, But I would guess that ailment immunity missing is pretty impactful (is for basically all builds).

Quick look at ninja shows that half of LS Slayers use Ancestral Vision jewel for this, 25% use purity of elements gem.
“Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”
The character in the link cannot be found anymore, but I can imagine what you tried to search.

Admiral Arrogance is the super endgame, because that gloves you can run Berserk. However, Admiral Arrogance with +1 frenzy is too expensive. More frenzy charges is better because it also means more brutal charges, and most importantly more endurance charges. It is defense and when the build is in its infant stages, Southbound helps reduce freeze threshold for Heatshiver to work properly against pinnacle bosses and tough rares. You can anoint Winter's Embrace for similar effect but I'm lazy to hit more buttons, so I anoint Smashing Strikes and just forget about brutal charges upkeep. Southbound also probably has the biggest "increased max life" of any item in the game.

The build is freeze and shock immune from pantheon and Tempest Shield. Ignite doesn't hurt because of overleech. You can still be ignite immune from corrupted Taming but I tried without it, and it was fine. Didn't even run Abberath pantheon. I don't know why they are using Ancestral Vision, especially those builds that run Tempest Shield too. It's probably for ignite, scorch and brittle.

Compared to Secrets of Suffering builds, we lose a layer of defense in sap, but we gain a layer which is freezing monsters. If I wanted to be tankier, I would drop Haste and replace with Flesh and Stone, and Arctic Armour.
In case you are really going for perma vaal build, please search for dagger with Faster Attacks instead of Multistrike, because Multistrike cannot be linked to vaal skills.

I think those builds are overkill though, especially the guys that made it so they have vaal charges even from the beginning of the pinnacle boss fight. Katabasis can clear an entire screen in one blink of an eye already.
