Leap Slam suddenly stopped working.

Can anybody help here? I tried to remove every gem, weapon, checked my stats and the requirement of the leap slap gem. I can't seem to figure out why it stopped working. Please help.

Close Combat Support - Supported Skills can only be used with Axes or Swords.

What is the point of using Close Combat with Leap Slam?

According to Google ;)
Close Combat Support is a support gem which grants the supported attack more melee damage based on how close the user is to the enemy. It also causes the skill to grant Combat Rush on hit, a buff which grants the next travel skill used within 2 seconds more attack speed. |
