That all depends on the content you want to do tbh. If you want to just play the game, campaign and do some maps maybe clear pinnacle bosses then I think PoE2 recommended specs will do just fine. However if you are planning do like Eternal Conflict scarab, juiced breaches or play an insane build with thousands of projectiles on a screen without a problem... Your budget is far from enough, you will probably need to spend just this amount on CPU.
That said, within that budget I would recoomend following: Specs to look out for: CPU: 8 core 3.6Ghz+ (CPU very important for PoE dont skimp out) for example R9 5900x, consider 5950x or even higher. GPU: I would probably recommend RTX 3070 That would be probably about 700-800Euro Rest you can fill it in fairly easy probably Motherboard that fits the cpu socket 32GB of RAM About 800-850 WAT Power Supply Unit, I would recommend Be Quiet, been using them for years and Im fairly happy with that. They also have aight cases and fans so I would also look them up for that. Lastly Custom CPU cooling, either Noctua or AIO water cooling. For AIO's I would recommend looking up performance charts, as the there is just so many brands. Last edited by Iruuii#4654 on Oct 28, 2024, 4:12:24 AM

Thank for the reply! I decided to increase my budget and ordered a pc for 1700€w with following core compents:
Ryzen 7 7800x3d RTX 4070 super Asus TUF Gaming B650 32GB DDR5 Kingston fury beast I guess this should be enough for Poe and PoE2. |

That sounds solid, I haven't personally used x3D Ryzen CPU's but I only heard good words for CPU intensive games. Remember to make some room in the budget for monitor arms, recline chair and a stool. I promise best decision you will make for PoE2 launch, can set it up like one of those scorpion chairs and game without back pain for weeks. GL!

"A 5900X or 5950X for just gaming is wasted and in some cases even worse than a 6-core or 8-core model within the same generation. "This is an excellent build and will last you for years to come. Make sure to activate your rams EXPO/XMP profile in the bios! I, for one, don't like pressing too many buttons. That doesn't make me unskilled, lazy, complacent or whatever other descriptor you are trying to pluck from your vocabulary. - Unknown philosopher, ca. 2025

" Yeah thanks about that bios hint, I heard about that one already. |
