Training Dummy/ Room - Asked for years
Some form of Training Dummy/ Training Room was requested for many years. Here are screens of just small sample of those threads (there are many pages).

and This wouldn't retract from the game, and probably wouldn't take a lot of time/ work to implement it. I think many players could enjoy this new part of the game, and by using those understand the game and builds better. Veterans also could benefit from trying things out. I myself proposed it last year, with some more specifics for how it could work, and how I enjoyed it in a different game. . +1 if its showing average dps
Innocence forgives you

" Sounds right and that might eliminate the need for using a stop watch. Although I probably would, for old times sake :P |

just use path of building . a dummy is awful idea, there are a million variables that a dummy would give you wrong answers for anyway.

" Using outside app that is a bunch of spredsheets isn't nearly as fun as hitting things with your abilitites and seeing the numbers "live". Well made attacking you dummies can simulate enough of variables to be a useful tool (for some on top of the PoB). Of course different bosses or areas work differently and one build is better in some and worse in others. But controlled environment where you can test some changes or many different skill, still would be beneficial for many people. |

Today another moment where I can't easily test two items against each other (and the example of course could be much more prominent and harder to check than this one).
I have piercinng arrows and passive that make projectile speed aplly to projectile damage.I also use retturning arrows support One Quiver adds dmg to the targets pierced (does it aplly dmg buff on the return as well?) Second adds a lot of projectile speed. If I had a dummy with big life pool I could time how fast I kill it with one or the other (or the dummy could show the average dmg and then again for the other quiver) . Of course there are smarter people, who do mental math easily or see the "red dress" while looking at matrix-poe code. But having the dummies would make this so much easier, and doable in game by using your character. Last edited by Bakubylozajete#1182 on Dec 1, 2024, 6:28:49 AM

Here is a short video of Marvel Heroes Training Ground.
https://youtu.be/K0bzJwKzOE0?si=OQSfVCXUbIamtAfC It shows four rooms: - Stationary mobs random spread - Stationary mobs wide circle - Boss HP sationary mob - Melee attacking mob. In PoE each of the rooms might get a set of switches/ options to make it better. 1. Set stationary or attacking 2. Promote one mob to rare (hp, defences, dmg) 3. Room deals you dmg constantly etc. Last edited by Bakubylozajete#1182 on Jan 4, 2025, 8:05:23 AM
