Immediately concerned about no Orbs of Scouring in PoE2...

So in the Q&A in the livestream it was mentioned that Orbs of Scouring are no more in PoE2... Soooooooo does this mean we are forced to pick up new bases to craft items after every single failed attempt?... And we have to find them with sockets too?

Plz god no.

Maybe this is something that needs better explaining on in a future Q&A...

I don't mean to be the type to criticize long before the game is complete or we have all the information, but this stood out as a big, big concern.

6 annuls is just a very expensive scouring, quite frankly. Achieves the same thing, unless they changed annuls.
