Xbox account to PC for PoE2

When PoE2 EA comes out, I plan to use my Xbox account as my PC account to play the game. I can do that, right?

The main reason why I want to do this is because I have MTX from PoE1 from playing the console. I was told I can use these MTX in PoE2 and hence why I wanna use my console account on PC. Again, are these assumptions correct?

Or is it bettet to start fresh. Forget my Xbox account. Create a new account for PC.

Correct. You can even do that now, you do not need to wait for PoE2.

In PoE1 you will have different characters on PC and Xbox, but the same MTX on the same account.
In PoE2 you will have the same characters and the same MTX on both platforms.

I just linked my PC and console accounts. My console MTX isn't showing up on my PC version.

Is only my PC MTX being shared because I made it my main account? Do they not all get merged?

So to be clear, will all the MTX from PoE1 console will be usable in PoE2 PC?

Xbox - PC MTX share Like stashtabs are No Problem
Sony - PC dont Work

Sony only allow MTXs that are directly bought on console. Not through other platforms Like this Forum for example.

Im playing on XBOX right now and really wanted to bring my account to PC..

How to do that?
