PoE2 estimated (subject to change) install sizes please @GGG
Topic says it all I think.
If you can give us estimated (of course subject to change) ball park install sizes for the 3 platforms I think some (especially with less than ideal internet speeds or storage considerations) would find that useful. Thank you. Last bumped on Nov 22, 2024, 11:35:28 AM

Well on steam it used to say "recommended storage 80 GB" for poe 2. Now it's changed to 100 GB. This means I have to actually move/delete poe 1 from my ssd to be able to barely fit this game if I wanna try it when it comes out lol, kinda sucks for people who only have a 200 gb ssd like me.
Would be nice if they could somehow let the 2 games share data if their files are similar enough, so that the download is smaller if you put it in the same directory as poe 1. Last edited by Toforto#2372 on Nov 22, 2024, 7:24:10 AM

^ ditto. I don't have the room for a 100GB game unless I'm to put it on an HDD rather than an SSD. I hope it's a separate game client, too.

" XBox placeholder size says 150GB, fine for me but someone that plays CoD or has Series S is in trouble (expected a few on PC to react as you both did tbh) |
|
" Completely separate games PoE1 and PoE2, can have either or both as you like. PoE2 is current gen consoles only and I’m expecting some PC folks will be wanting hardware upgrades soon. |
|
" I desperately need to upgrade. I doubt I'm alone. |
|
" Last years Steam report showed 7% of users had PCs ‘higher spec’ed’ than a Series X Xbox (I suspect with PoE being so detaining that’s a way way higher percentage here), you are definitely not alone. I can’t help but wonder how long a current gen console (being locking to its hardware vs upgradable PC) will be able to play PoE 2 smoothly. |
