A question for Early Access on Xbox
I have a question that when I purchased the Path of Exile 2 Early Access supporter pack and checked my account status, there were only keys for steam and epic. Then I checked my Microsoft account and I did not have the POE2 Early Access supporter pack.
Does this mean I need to buy it on the Microsoft store instead of the POE website? If not, how do I activate the supporter pack on my Xbox? Last bumped on Nov 25, 2024, 11:42:43 AM

Same question here - I bought an early access pack on pathofexile.com only later realizing that there was a separate xbox store item, and that's not showing as purchased for me. I do have my Microsoft account linked on pathofexile.com. Concerned that I'm not actually going to get access on the xbox.

Hi.
You should contact support regarding this. The access is only valid for the platform that you have purchased it on. If you purchased it on the pathofexile.com website, you only receive it for the PC version. |

" All MTX are shared across accounts and the game will have cross-progression. You're saying that you would need to buy the same MTX pack for the same account twice? That sounds incorrect, especially since Early Access is based on your account rather than having access to the client. |

As far as I have understood from reading other forum posts, and based on the FAQ. My understanding is that early access is not account specific, but rather platform specific. In that a supporter pack purchased on one platform (I.e., PC) is not considered the same as one purchased on a console platform (i.e., Xbox). Therefore you need to purchase EA on Xbox (in game on console) in order to get access to the client, even if you already purchased access for PC via the website. That being said, mtx is not platform specific, but account specific. So whether you play on Xbox or PC, you will have access to all the mtx of the sub-account which you are using. For example, in my case, I purchased the 480 pack on the website for play EA on PC, but as I sometimes play on XBox (with the wife), I will just purchase the 30 pack on Xbox in game for the EA. But whether I play on Xbox or PC, I will have access to all the mtx of the 480 pack (and any others on the sub account which i decide to use). I am not saying that I am 100% correct, but this is what I have understood so far. I have no problem with this personally, as I don't mind giving GGG another 30 euros, but I must admit that it was not clear at first. All the best fellow exiles, and see you in POE2! :)

i am in contact with the support , and wait for a solution regarding this problem.
but... Why is it possible in the first place, that u can purchase items in the Forum, when ur account is a Playstation or XboX account - There is nothing, that stops u from buying things. I think the Forum Team must adress it for the future. After i bought my pack i got these information in my account ________________________________________________________ Early Access Your account is eligible for Path of Exile 2 Early Access! Thank you for your (or your benevolent friend's) support! Path of Exile 2 Steam Client Key This key is available to claim, click the button below to access your key. Please note this key only unlocks the client in your library, it will not provide early access to your account and should not be given away. Path of Exile 2 Epic Client Key Sorry, these keys are currently unavailable. Please check back soon! Please note this key only unlocks the client in your library, it will not provide early access to your account and should not be given away. ________________________________________________________ For me this information means U are now eligable for ps5 Early acress , because its a Playstation account i am using in this forum. The other information tells me, i can also get a steam key. ( Crossplay ) But what i can read out of all these post here is, that its just the information, that i have acess on POE2 for PC? This should never be possible. In the POE shop should never be the option to buy things, that u cant use on the platform u are logged in with. |
