Previous support packs on perma shop sale

There are fev. support packs that I regret not getting or upgrading that no longer exist. Would it be possible to bring them back for a limited time or perhaps even keep all previous "support packs" be perma on sale.

I would argue that it makes way more money to put previous support pack sets into shop rather than getting rid of them. Does it not make sense to make them always available? Perhaps, they could rotate in the shop?

they were advertised as "unique", means if you didn't buy them at the time of existence you can't get them later on.

from the game's technical point of view it's crazy to push more and more data onto player's computer for stuff they will never see ingame except if they meet a player in town who has that mtx.

from my pov, it's ok if they sell old mtx if they exclude packs from the original closed and open beta.

I’d be ok with league and annual packs coming back and making GGG more revenue with which to entertain us with. Think for ethical reasons I wouldn’t do it for long and would let anything less than 2 years old into the ‘sale’ to be fair to the supporters. I would also not let any mtx in those packs out of those packs as they were…buy anything more than 2 years old for same as it cost ‘me’ at the time for example
what if you would always have the option to upgrade the pack for higher tier as long as you bought from that series in the past?
latest poe2 q/a mentions that while poe2 in development there will be a lot of skins with "unavailable" status while team is working on it. Ofc, if you gonna rework it may as well put it on a sale.
No, they were advertised as exclusive, limited time packs that would never come back and that's what gives them value, they also notified you when they were discontinuing them that they would be gone for ever.

While some would be happy with it, other would be raging at it and other will see it as a cash grab.

Don’t disagree one tiny bit, though personally wouldn’t object to an ethical ‘cash grab’ to fund our wonderful game(s). (Def if it ever happened, which it won’t imo, the price paid in past has to be the same if they returned)
Hypothetically a poll could test the waters, see what the community thinks. I’ve never seen one before and doubt we will now.
The result of such a poll could come back with an overwhelming yes let them return for a short time but (just for discussions sake) only the bottom 2 or 3 tiers and not the top ones.

How do people still not get that IT WOULD BE ILLEGAL to do this? As in, GGG would be in trouble with the New Zealand government if they sold previously-sold-as-exclusive supporter packs?

What the players do and don't want is completely irrelevant here. You cannot tell your customers something about a product, sell it to them, and then retroactively change that thing about the product. The class action suit this would open GGG up to is the kind of Grenada-case lawyers fantasize about in law school, where at the very, very least GGG could be expected to refund literally every single supporter pack they have sold since the closed beta.

So no, they aren't going to do this, because it's ridiculous. It would be the literal death of the company.

I believe in the TOS there is a clause that GGG reserve the right to change anything at anytime in anyway (not quoting obviously). It’s a pretty much standard clause in most if not all software.

Personally I am neither for or against the topic principle, however it would have to be done ethically (however you’d care to define that).
