Mouse and Keyboard support for console

Hey everyone, new player here, beyond excited for POE2 launch. As probably many of you, I don't have a PC capable of running POE2 but I do own a PS5. I was wondering if the game will support a mouse and a keyboard on consoles, akin to games like COD?

I think the gameplay on controller will be fine, but inventory management sucks on controller in games like these, so kbm support would be amazing! I don't think it would be hard to implement, seeing as PS5 supports it on the OS level.

100% agree.
The XBox current gen (I’d assume the PS5 as well) has native keyboard and mouse support, it’s down to the developers to decide to use it or not.
Assuming (and I’d bet a beer on it) that PoE2 is developed on PC and ported to the current gen consoles it would actually take work to disable keyboard and mouse imo and probably less work to port that support.
With more action buttons and the new WASD it would be a delight to finally have the choice (like PC does) of either controller or keyboard and mouse if you own them.

Also fairly sure (been out of the ‘dev game’ since Xbox 360 when this was def not true) that the SDKs for PS5 and XB Series are damned close to stick in the PC code and press yes (over simplified layman way of putting it).No disrespect to the hardworking console teams intended, we all love you (and I know the work you diligently do).

I've been looking for an answer to this for a long time as well... How hard can it be to just verify this information to the public whether they are implementing it or not :(

There is an interview with JR since GGG Live where he says he didn’t even know it was a thing until recently and is going to talk to console team about implementing it

Please support this, would love to use the Xbox with keyboard and mouse.
