If PoE2 has a boss fight mechanic like the Searing Exarch's meatballs...
Who thought it was a good idea to have:
Fast moving Instant kill RNG Death balls in an action RPG? I can handle all the other mechanics, the telegraphed attacks are easy once you learn the voice lines. But the meatballs are unfair. There's probably like 50 people who will say "lol get good" who when they first encountered it were lambasting it. It's a horrible game mechanic unless you're a masochist in which case bravo, you've created the game equivelant of self casteration with a rusty pair of scissors. Mash the clean

Yeah... Once i saw that fight i thought "nah im not gonna do this its just to complex and requires dexterity above 150". Im like 57, maby 69.
But i get to that fight and at first time i died only 5 times. But i was able to finish it. Second time i died 3 times. And after that i dont. Just learn it. |

"Fast moving? Do you play without movement speed on your boots? "They're not killing you instantly. There is a neat thing called mitigation or defensive layers, give it a try some day. "They're not a true rng mechanic, what are you even on about? "Lol get good. |

It is rng where the ground degen grates are vs where you have openings. This whole fight suffers from that in and out of ball phase, you may not even notice much if you don't play melee.
If you're not skilled you can weapon swap during ball phase to the rise of the phoenix shield and a weapon that has life. I like laviangas wisdom. I used to use the dark seer back before they ruined it. Also if you're running an aura that is not super useful here like grace then you can run purity of fire + vitality or purity of fire + arctic armour(if you know how to utilize this properly) and a couple ruby flasks. Recoup is also helpful. Also be mindful of your movement speed. Being too fast kills, much like uber shaper bullet hell. |

I really hope we do not have exarch meatballs in POE2, this sucks!
Also the maven DOT pools, they can F you up real bad... |
|
" The maven dot pools are so trivial in terms of damage. You aren't meant to hang out in them. Place them in a convenient place (i like very center) then avoid them. Try out frostblink if you're struggling with multiple drops. If being chilled is something that you're worried about then chill immunity is easy on boots, or if youre using brine king you can reduce chill effect. I worry about them so little im not even 100% certain the debuff while in them is chill. If you're using flame dash and it has an actual action speed slow like chill then you will likely just be hanging out in the puddle degenning while slowly moving. Frostblink is 100x more superior to flame dash especially for bossing outside of niche. |

"Hoho. PoE 2 bosses will be a rough awakening for many. |
|
" Absolutely. It's going to be interesting even in act 1. I'm guessing we'll get a lot of "those" threads probably as early as day 1. |
|
" Pretty much My only issue, honestly at all, is they left the opportunity for carries in POE2. SMH my head. Mash the clean
