MTX idea: pay MTX points to convert a POE1 item into an item skin that can be used in POE2

I think it would be great if we could pay MTX points to convert items in POE1 into MTX item skins that can be used in POE2.

For example, pay 50 points to convert a Starforge into a Weapon Skin. It would function similarly to a 1-time-use "Skin Transfer" item that appears in your MTX stash after you buy it in the store. You just left click on the "Convert To Item Skin" item and then left click on a Starforge in your inventory to destroy the Starforge and convert into an Weapon Skin MTX just like any other Weapon Skin MTX. And then you'd be able to make your 2H Sword in POE2 look like a Starforge 😀

(The 50 points is just a random number I chose. Of course the price could be higher or lower than that.)

+1 would approve is a really nice idea! I would add something additonal to that thread as well. Give the option to show it either on character or just as an overlap item skin (or both).

You mean non MTX skins in PoE1?
I like the idea
But 50 points is too much

I would rather have a one time fee tht let you add skins to your MTX warddrobe permanently

I can't imagine many actually uses the skin transfers
