Greetings

Hey,

I have very very rarely posted on these forums, and have in fact not really played PoE 1 past level 38, because I was intimidated by the skill tree and the fact that it seemed like you'd need a college degree in Path of Exile to understand the game and not ruin all your characters.

Despite that, I was a very early supporter of the game and a believer in Grinding Gear Games. I got the original t-shirt, a signed original soundtrack, and I have a signed and framed map of Wraeclast on the walls of my home.

It warms my heart to see how much GGG has grown and how committed they've remained to creating an arpg that was a truly worthy Diablo II successor. Path of Exile has been a resounding success, and despite the fact that I was not able to get much into the game myself, I am nevertheless proud of the fact that I had a tiny hand in helping them in the beginning.

Now that Path of Exile 2 has been announced and is close to the release of early access, I have been following all of their announcements very closely, and I am once again excited about what GGG is about to do. They have now grown into their own, and seem to be surpassing everything else in their respective genre. Once again, I'm hyped to see what they're going to pull off this time around, and although the new skill tree still looks just as intimidating, I've heard from several people that this iteration of PoE will more than likely be a little more accessible to people like me.

And so, I am once again proud to be a part of a gaming community that is passionate about a truly good gaming developer and game. Here's to the next decade, friends.
