Making it easier for new players.

Hello maybe adding some kind of tool that you can turn on/off in options. Tool that allow you follow one of preset build templates, something like non unique req league starters in game without 3rd party like poe builder. Maybe even Auto allocating passive points on tree depending how build goes. Probably everyone thought about this but... well if not it may be good non aggressive idea.

Good idea!
I honestly think that's a bit too much. It will create metas and new players will default to the game playing itself, rather than experimenting and getting good. Imagine if Elden Ring did that, it would suck.
Tbh...there isnt much you can do "wrong" in the beginning when you simply read the passive skills and affixes on your gear.
Some players are getting lost very quickly, what is easy to us isnt to others.
Never thought about that kind of in-game support could be gamebreaking if its limited to few presets.
Auto allocation sounds bad.

But having a checkbox in the begining of the game [Do you want suggestions for the build], that you can allways check on or of in the Passive Tree, that when checked highlights a simple path for the passives for your class, could be good for new players. When hovering over the checkbox and pressing a certain hotkey it would show suggested main skill gems, and simple instruction what to look for in the items for the build.

This would be for the beginers to have some information, suggestion, and path, to have it easier to do the first build, and would be easy to implement. But it wouldn't do things for them, wouldn't produce a top tier end game build for the current meta, wouldn't show what exact uniques or important mods they need etc.

Maybe something like this can be done better, that's just my suggestion. But doing much more than this would be difficult to implement (or required changes more often) and/or would instead of helping, make the learning process much slower.
You are so right. Just a hint, not a total grab by the hand mode. Just that so new player have a chance to get to yellow maps? Obviously if he want to progress more he have to learn about crafting, trading etc. But thats different topic, if he get hooked to that point, player will teach himself.
There won’t be an automatic building for you, it has been said several times that the guiding or tutorial (sounds like you can turn it off) for players will be pretty damned informative to get you as a new player going without much effort.
