Ascendancy switching

I couldn't find another related thread, so am posting here. Apologies if I missed it.

+1 to be able to switch ascendancy on your character like in poe. As it stands now, not being able to switch and try out a different ascendancy on your class you've leveled is kinda rough. Particularly if you're not enjoying your chosen ascendancy and are forced to reroll and start leveling the same class again to switch ascendancy.

There will be enough grind in the game without having to level up a duplicate character just to switch ascendancy.

What are people's thoughts on this change?

You can do this in PoE1.

Eventually you'll be able to do this in PoE2, but it's not in the game yet.

Theres some changes I dislike in PoE 2 but this ascendancy is the worst kind."GGG:Theres no option and some of us want it to be locked"bruh...Now that people know I guess good portion of players wont even pick any until others do and figure out whats not trash to run in the end.

Also with changes coming during EA,they might make your choice bad in comparison to other one,also when it comes to 3rd one thats coming you will need to relevel and replay trough acts once again just to try it.

There should be no "uhh not at the moment,we want it locked,maybe later on...."They already made getting points worse than in PoE.I hate going trough acts I dont want to level same class three times just to play other ascendancy.

The nolifers might level something but new comers will see bricking of atlas,death penalties,long act play time and when they think they might chose something else and build differently they cant,instead back to level 1 and back to acts.Did they really think this trough at any point or is this one of those "we want it that way"no matter how bad it is?
