Character visual movement animation

Hi,

I am making a simple post expressing my view on this topic ; the character model animation, particularily the Mercenary.

The correction would be to slow the animation down a notch while running. Let me explain.

With the controller there is a certain control for which we can accelerate and lead the animation with the joystick, this is great. The thing is, a good portion of player are from PC and do not always have that feature.

The animation seems a bit exaggerated when running. Maybe it will tune out perfectly with the proper amount of velocity with +x% movement speed bonus. Even though that could be the case, I would assume that it is possible to accentuate the animation DEPENDING on the actual movement speed.

So, what are, visually, the details that bothers me?
When the character runs full speed(or just normally for PC, by pressing WASD or mouse click) the animation tends more towards a sprint animation than a jogg or fast jogg. The thing is, the velocity of the character and the way he sprint doesn't quite match. The character model extends too much his legs backwards ; heels high backwards with torso bent a bit on the front to simulate a sprint. Although, the velocity that is used to traverse terrain seems like he's actually jogging or even fast walking.

I hope some go take a look at this and see if they notice it as well. After all, Mr. Roger said that the ''feeling'' of the gameplay was really important with PoE2, so I would assume that it is important, even if it is a small issue (for me, at least).
