Essences not dropping In Desert Spring Necro Settlers

I ran "Desert Spring" on T12 in Necro Settlers, I do not have "Crystal Resonance", I had a full spec of essence scarabs, map craft for essence, map was not corrupted, I corrupted my first 2 essnces to upgrade them, but after I killed them they did not drop any essence, loot filter as far as I know doesn't work in this league, but either way I have it turned off anyhow. I killed the next several essences without corrupting them and the dropped just fine.
