Guilds and PoE2

From the PoE Korea Interview:

"Guilds are not currently combined for PoE1 and 2 due to a technical limitation."

We have a guild that we use with out R-L friends and i personally invested alot of money to buy stash tabs for the guild. While that is not a problem in itself, i would like to know what is the best course of action for me and my group of friends.

1. Do we create a new guild in PoE2 and re-purchase all the stash tabs?`
2. Do we play separateply and wait for the eventual guild merge between PoE1 and PoE2.
3. What will happen in the eventuality of a merge and there are differetne guild in PoE1 and PoE2?

Very interested in this myself. I am the guild leader in our POE1 guild, and have sunk a LOT of money into that guild, as well as donating a fair bit of MTXs that were on my personal account TO that guild to be used in the Guild Hideout. If I had not donated them, they'd still be mine, personally, and carried over into POE2.

So, I hope that we keep our guilds (might not be able to chat across to the other game, or whatever) and guild stashes with full MTX conversion as well.

Very interested in whether purchased stash tabs will survive or ..??

How to proceed?
- Do nothing now, wait for it to be sorted?
- Guild still exists, re-invite members (separate poe1/2 roster?)
- Make new guild (and re-buy tabs) ?

It does make some sense to have them [rosters] split, as players might only choose to play one of the games, to keep from taking up "dead [member] slots" in the opposite title

Mostly concerned with investment and functionality/action steps - would feel like a real rug pull if "all mtx transfers over where it makes sense" were not honored and stash tabs/member slots could not be used/applied in this way

(Cross-game guild chat not essential for now but would be nice eventually)
