Merging Xbox and PC account issue

I accidently posted this in gameplay, not a duplicate as I have more info.
I have a steam account and an Xbox account, the xbox account has more tabs on it so I want to merge them to have both available, then eventually get MTX transferred across to one. I've read GGG can do that, but the sub accounts is what I need to figure out right now. My Steam account I added an email and now that is the primary login, Steam as secondary. My Xbox account I also added an email and now the Xbox account is secondary. Is the issue they are both primary email login? As the error I'm getting is I can't merge 2 accounts with the same login process, even though I've only ever played on Xbox on one. Did I make the mistake of adding an email to my Xbox login? If so, how do I change the primary login to Xbox or steam only? I don't see that option to remove email - Only change email or password. Or is there something else I'm missing here? Same issue. (Believe the issue stems from the Xbox auto logging in the 'wrong' user, and for us being unable to select any user) Hopefully they will get back to our support tickets, and we could update this post/inform others so this doesn't happen to them. |
