Poe2 conserns.
So recently i saw a video about poe 2 and Jonathan speaking about endgame will only be for the best players, and from what i can understand a lot of poe2's inspiration is drawn from Elden ring, so here is my thoughts in short:
Once upon a time D3 launched, very few players could go beyond Belial (and the dreaded bee's) so Kripp made a video about path of exile, people flocked here and path of exile became a huge success! but where are we today? are poe2 becomming 100+ belial's? i 100% get that we are not supposed to like every game, and im fine with it, but if that is the case, ill rather play something else, can someone that have tried it, write a little about their experiences with it? Ty in advance! Last bumped on Dec 3, 2024, 9:33:30 PM

What are you even talking about? Just go on yt ond look for yourself. Why do you think endgame is only for the best players, do you have any reading or watching comprehension? Just finish the acts and you're in endgame it's easy as that.

" That never happened...if you fail at belial, you're simply bad. |

" what he meant is pinnacle bosses which is similiar in PoE1. Not everyone actually killed those even in PoE1 yet |

The endgame starts out as easy as the end of the acts, so everyone beating the story can engage in the endgame. Then it gets harder and harder the farther you go, and sure; far from everyone can do the toughest content. But you have hundreds of hours of fun before that part, and you can even have fun for years without beating everything.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

" The very late endgame was for the best players and builds in poe1 too. But its a big endgame with lots of stuff to do. But the very late endgame bosses take grinding to reach and they are hard. So newbies are not going to make it. But if you fail you try again later with a different build. Or in a later league. Its gonna be free game so you lose nothing if you cant kill the hardest bosses and maby you return later to try again. |

" What he meant was Pinnacle Bosses, like actual Pinnacle Boss not just whatever bosses you meet in the atlas / endgame. Even in PoE 1, you don't just use whatever gear you have, whatever skill you use, wherever passive points you allocated, to kill 1st gen Pinnacle Boss like Shaper or The Elder. You still need preparation and somewhat optimization to kill those bosses. So expect that the game demands you to be the better or best version of yourself, in tackling pinnacle bosses. Upgrade your gears, optimized your build, learn the game and the mechanic. If you expect to kill Pinnacle bosses without doing those, then you don't deserve to kill those bosses. Its called PINNCALE for a reason. I believe that we don't have any clear information about PoE 2 complete Pinnacle Boss fight, like all of their mechanics, the fight, their exclusive loots. But if you ask me about PoE 1 Pinnacle boss fight, they are not impossible to be beaten. You don't need to be the top 0,1% to be able to kill them. Put in the effort and you will be able to kill them. Different story if its about Uber Pinnacle bosses, I just outgear them and kill them / push the phases, in maybe 5 seconds or less in PoE 1. |
