Will GGG get more of my money if i buy my PoE2 EA on the site rather than on Steam?

I love Valve and Steam, they are the most un-scumbag whale in the gaming industry... but i do believe they take a fair chunk of a sale (30% ?).

So, will it be better for GGG if i buy here or it doesn't matter?

Also, we'll the purchase here be "linkable" with Steam later on, like in PoE1? I was in the closed beta of POE1 and then years later my profile got transferred to Steam too... And it's not bad, i like the steam insane servers and game library, ngl.

GGG does indeed get more of your money if you buy it from the site.
And yes, you do get a steam key that you can use to unlock the game on steam.
The steam key itself doesn't unlock PoE2 if your PoE account doesn't have access to it

?
Use the standalone client. Dont use Steam. You'll be thankful on patch days.

Because of the after-download ultra-slow verify thing ?
From what I remember, bigger patches, too.
i want to mention at this point, because i just recently bought the 100$ pack via the website, after conversion it was 94.35 euro on the website
on steam the same pack (king of faridun or smth) costs 92.40 euro, so while not much, take it with a grain of salt :)

i bought it via website myself because i wanted to support ggg abit more and because on steam you cant buy packs with physical items in it :P

true for poe1, the new supporter packs are poe2 though, just look at the steam store for poe2, it only offers up to king of faridun there

You buy it in-game not on the actual steam store.
