Kauri Shores map device quest disconnection

Hi, apologies if this is a known issue but I couldn't find anything on google. I just finished Act 10 and killed kitava, and I'm now at Kauri shores. I'm trying to use the map device to complete the quest and unlock the atlas, but when I enter the map device portal, I'm sent to the login screen with my only message being "unexpected disconnection". I've already tried restarting the client, and my internet's been fine all day (all week even, first time this has happened in my whole playthrough). I'm really not sure what's up but I'd appreciate any help, I've been looking forward to maps.

GGG are aware of various map device errors. Hopefully it will be fixed in a timely manner.

So to be clear, if you are having this issue where every time you try to enter a map you get an unexpected DC, you aren't going to be able to play maps, and someone might fix this eventually?

I mean, hopefully if it's server end it can be fixed soon, I was really excited getting to maps for the first time :(

well it's good to know it's not a uniquely me issue then! unfortunate that this happened right as we were both about to start maps though :(

Same problem since more than 1/2 day. Seems they stop supporting POE1

Same here. Also just wanted to start maps :(
