Can't Link Steam - No E Verification E-Mail

Trying to link my steam account so I can login and play with my husband. The e-mail linked to this account worked to get me my access key. The verification e-mail required is not getting sent. I have tried more than once.

"Verification Email Sent
You have been sent an email to finish linking your account.

In order to proceed please follow the link in the email."

Same issue I am having. I assume it is either stuck qued, or overloaded with the number of people attempting to do the same verification step.

I am also having this issue, and I cannot play the game due to this problem. I really hope this gets fixed asap because I want to be able to play the game I paid for haha
