Lachlann Sorrow Among Stones quest bugged

I'm at the end of the Sorrow Among Stones quest where you follow Lachlann in after having collected the two keys, unfortunately he's just standing there in front of the grave and does nothing, can't interact with him.

Tried logging in and out several times, tried leaving area and coming back, tried verifying files.

Can't progress the game at all, now.

Same for me.
I made a portal at the checkpoint to empty my inventory, came back and the quest is bugged in the same way for me.
Cannot progress.

Try standing next to him and hit esc -> Respawn at Checkpoint. That worked for me; he walked through the gate after that.

Ok guys here is something that worked for me.

I leveraged a relatively secret method of accessing the Instance Manager.

If you click on a waypoint, then it brings up the map of the world, then hold left CTRL key and then right click on the waypoint of the zone that is bugged, in this case "Cemetery of Eternals" and click on NEW instance. This will reset the zone and Lochlan will be back at the waypoint and start his animation route to run south through the gate towards the grave stones.

Posting this from the future / my alt saying THANK YOU. Game crashed right when I opened the gate. Tried all sorts of stuff, but this did the trick.
