Weird FPS cap that cannot be directly explained by game or graphics card setting

Hello,

I am running a 4080 Super a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and 32GB or RAM and 2x Gigabyte AORUS 240Hz OLED displays. Windows updates and Nvidia drivers are in their latest state.

Yet, for some reason I cannot change my fps to be higher than 50-60 fps. That does not make any sense to me, because ingame there are no framelimiters or something of that kind enabled. In the Nvidia app there is also nothing that indicates a problem with the fps being limited.

Glady provide more information if neede. Right now I am just confused where this might come from.

Also tryed switching a few settings to different values to provoke an overwriting process, as i assumed it might just not have updated the values properly
