POE2 Crashes to Desktop Main Menu/First Loading Screen Every Time

I've tried everything. Updating drivers, verifying game files, reinstalling. The 2 times I've gotten into instance, game ran smooth with no fps/gpu issues. Then next load screen crashed.

Intel Core i9-14900K 3.20 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080ti
64GB RAM
MSI PRO Z790-A MAX WIFI
Windows 11 Home

Have tried switching between D12 and Vulkan, no difference. D11 is worse even.

Running as admin, changing compatibility mode to Windows 8, etc have not worked either.

I have been having similar issues on my i9 13th gen, rtx 4090, windows 11 pro 23h2 version, 64gb ram. When loading new area the game crashes to desktop. Many people on reddit share these issues as well and nobody has found the 100% fix yet.

had a similiar problem with a char of mine hardstucking and desktop crashes after trying to enter the game. it got fixed when i swaped over to the standalone client.

does POE2 have a standalone client yet?

what you mean (standalone client) - i downloaded poe2 from off site ...

I've run game through POE client, ran packcheck.exe, cleared cache, reinstalled clean Windows, everything. Still cant get past main menu crash
