Why is there no way to filter party search by region/ping?

I've been very frustrated that there seems to be no way to sort/filter the party search results by server/region/ping

It causes very bad input latency on controls and is making online not very fun to participate in, I live in Australia and a lot of players are American obviously, so I get put into American servers where the control lag is very bad, why is there no way to hide party search results that aren't my region? I just want to play with Australia and NZ players with party search and not have input delay.
