Support time?

I'm curious how long support is taking at the moment? I've been waiting a week for a reply and it feels like they just deleted my unlink request. Last time I talked to them was Nov 30th and it's almost Dec 8th with no emails and without them fixing the problem. Before GGG says it, I know they are swamped, especially since release on the 6th but my support was in over 6 days before and it just feels like they aren't fixing any problems.

Hey there, if you have already contacted us at support@grindinggear.com, we will respond to you as soon as we can. We are currently working through a large number of support requests, but please rest assured we will get back to you as soon as possible.

over a week? wow. i'm upset that i've been waiting for 24 hours! :) it seems like GGG does not have the staff in place to handle the workload. i hope they have a plan moving forward. i bought the $160 Vaal pack and haven't even been able to play yet. the game might be good (from what i've read/heard - i wouldn't know since i can't even play) but the customer support is awful. seems like a really bad move to me.

one thing people really hate a lot is feeling ignored, especially after they paid for something. what i'm reading in these forums (and experiencing myself) is that tons of people are sending emails to support and no one is getting a reply. you just asked for an ETA and got no response. so that tells me they are so far behind they have no idea when they're gonna catch up. people are already getting angry, and if we have to wait weeks for replies it's going to get ugly.

i wonder if GGG was just arrogant and thought they wouldn't have many problems, or if they don't care, or maybe they just didn't put any thought into it at all. but when you are releasing a game and you know that you have sold over a million keys, you'd think they'd be ready to get an avalanche of emails sent to support and have a big enough team in place to deal with that. a shame that they dropped the ball there.

oh well. i guess i won't be playing PoE2 anytime soon. :/
Yea, getting a complete non answer doesn't help either when you ask a specific question. I've only had 1 other time dealing with support and it was just as bad as this so to me that means they just aren't worried about staffing that department (I do wonder if they only have 1 person handling it all)

have you got a reply meanwhile?
i am still waiting since Dec the 7th ^^
Email chain is as follows

Me Nov 30
GGG Nov 30
Me Nov 30
GGG Dec 16
Me Dec 16
GGG Dec 23
Me Dec 23
GGG Jan 2
Me Jan 2

And I'm still waiting for a steam unlink so I can buy EA PoE2, altho with this support it makes me think I should just wait until it comes out for free instead of giving them any money with support that is the worst in the games industry
