Name changed now can't play with character

Had an inappropriate name and GGG made me change it. I changed it to a name used by one of my POE 1 characters now the POE 2 client shows data for the POE 1 character and I cannot enter the game with the POE 2 character. Other characters are fine.

Same happened to me about an hour ago. My level 18 warrior now shows as a level 10 in character selection and I keep getting a error code trying to load in.
