POE 2: Shockwave Totem slam does not trigger Volcanic Fissure aftershock

Per the title Shockwave Totem is tagged as a Slam and can be supported as such but the secondary aftershock effect of Volcanic Fissure is not triggered by the totem's slam.

If this is intended Volcanic Fissure should be updated to reflect that a self cast slam is required to create aftershocks.

I came with a simular situation but the oposite way. Ancestral totem had the fissure and I did the slams. Volcanic fissure didn't do any aftershocks from my slams. I tried and added Sunder on top of the Volcanic fissure in the totem and the Sunder attacks did in fact proc the aftershock. My guess its intended mechanic to stop you automating too much of your build.
Volcanic fissure is just incredibly bad. Dont believe me? Dont change anything and put in molten blast...instant massive aoe, double the damage, useful quality bonus of fire exposure. Someone badly messed up the numbers on volcanic fissure. You would need to double the length, start with two fissures at base...and I still wouldn't use it. And yes I know you can use another slam to re-activate it...but all that setup....and it might almost be 75% of the damage of just spamming molten blast
I came for the same situation; I was so excited for use this combo and I noticed that not worked. I hope they can fix it soon.
Was hoping they would address this in 0.1.0e but they didn’t so bumping the thread
Also was disapointed, I couldn't find a clear explanation for why it works this way.I hope either the description of the totems will be corrected. or they'll fix it, if its a bug

also my first post on forum lol
Jeez thats dissapointing, it's the one thing my build needs right now :/
