unexpected disconnection occured

first got disconnected when entering the caravan in act 2 on cruel difficulty.
Unable to reconnect after, always getting "unexpected disconnection occurred" and booted out to the login screen. character is a gemling mercercenary. Last bumped on Dec 12, 2024, 1:45:09 PM

Interesting, I too am having the same problem and currently using the exact same character and ascension. my disconnect occurred loading into the town of Deshar in Act 2. now I cant log into the character.

Okay, I fixed th issue, at least for myself. I set BOTH PoE and Steam client to run as administrator.
Still it is very strange, because I could play act 1 without this :/ |
