Traitors Passage Balbala the Traitor doesnt drop her quest item

Hi im having quite a serious issue. I have gone through Traitors Passage and beating Balbala, but she does not drop the quest item for me, I have asked friends who play the game and it dropped for them. I have run the boss 5 times now with no drop. this has completely stunted my characters progress as i can not do my 1st Ascendency and i don't want to start a new character with the potential of it not working again. this is the only boss i have had a quest item issue with. Any fix would be appreciated.

It gets even better. It can happen that you crash or somewthing and lose the quest item. So even if you get it - you can still be soft locked eventually. I got my ascencion but it only starts with 2 skill points. I lost the quest item afterwards. So the ascension is kinda pointless now since I can't run the trials again and gain more skill points.

Ah.. the issue for me is i cant even get the quest to ascend. the area of the map you go is untravellable. no markers and if i get a friend to go there and drop a portal it says invalid quest state. but cant get the quest. Oh well shit happens i guess

Same here, no quest item dropped, 2 act cruel.

There are a few other threads addressing this. You can't get the 3rd ascendancy yet.... Its a client error they might fix soon. Cruel act 2 wasn't fixed in the early access to not display that quest a second time.

You get the 3rd ascendancy later on so disregard everything with that quest for ascension for now
