I’m on a ps5 pro and I’ve been having the same problems since launch. Same thing happened in the d4 Halloween event and couldn’t play for days until it was eventually fixed.

Been able to play 6 hours after initial install on PS5.
Closed the game, came back to this... https://www.youtube.com/live/RLpcJ_I3X7A?si=52lZwjUOF9Wdmqa2 Has been like this for 2 days now. Every 3 to 5 seconds the latency goes from 20ms to 1000ms. No other game has this type of issue. Currently redownloading but I am afraid it won't help. |

I'm having the same issue and it's so much worse. Just standing in town everyone is teleporting around. The problem started for me last night and the people I was playing with had zero issues. I turned off the PS5 for the night, reinstalled this morning, and did all the normal stuff. It's not playable right now.

I don't have any lag on my pro.
Looks like a connection issue? I'm on London servers |

In your options at the login screen check to ensure your Gateway is set to a specific location close to you rather than have it on Auto. That should prevent the gateway from being set erroneously.
There is a patch in the pipe for consoles to fix this gateway issue but it needs to get through certification. |

Have you guys tried playing with a wired connection? Because I'm also on PS5 and I don't have this issue but I have a wired connection.
I tried playing D4 on wireless and it was constant rubber-banding. Going wired totally fixed that. |

I am on a wired connection. I did get to play the game normally earlier today for a bit but when I came back from my errands it was jank again. Switching location from Auto didn't help. Reckon I'll just wait it out.

when you changed it from Auto did you save the setting? Currently the option for Gateway wont save unless you also change some other arbitrary setting. (the button at the bottom labelled Save is greyed out even if you change Gateway)
so change gateway, change say the cross-play option, save, change the cross-play option back, save. |

This is going to sound crazy but I've found a workaround. I have to die and restart from the checkpoint. That rules out multiplayer but it's something.
