Cant progress the story PoE2

i killed the boss in the molten vault Mektul the Forgemaster, and died as i killed him, now the entrance is bugged and i cannot pick up the hammer of kamasa. the entrance to the boss fight doesnt allow me to go back in, so now i dont know what to do...
