Escape trial hard with autock
I can't click the crystals because the auto target is so aggressive it locks back on them so I end up losing the trial unless I can kill everything on the screen. Any way to disengage this?

I suspect the only way to do the Death Crystal phase is to unequip a skill from the X slot.
It's really really bad design to have an interactable that you need to click on and have the game actively fight you from doing this. It's already hard to just pick things up or interact on controller but now we have to do this under time pressure? Terrible design. IMHO they should change the Death Crystals to be a proximity mechanism. You need to be near them for a few seconds and the closer you are the faster it goes. That way you can still be trying to fight and engage enemies but stay in range of the objective. |

I think you can go into your skill assignments and put "interact" on your second skill bar. Haven't tried yet myself though

Same here, I died 2 times because it was impossible to clic on the cristal (even with no mobs on sight)

" it doesn't work that way, i've already tried it :( |

I always have X empty. The game auto maps new skills to X when I want interact only.
Selecting the crystals was still a challenge where I would just turn to face the monster rather than the crystal. This happens with chests too |

I suggest keep Interact bind with no-attack skill combined.
Personally I binded it to dpad-down, with minimap toggle |

Yeah, the game needs to at least prioritize the objective if you're manually trying to select it with your right thumbstick.
And yes, I understand that you can change settings around to try and mitigate this, but default schemes should still work. There's no excuse for mechanics to punish you with default settings enabled. |
