Game Crash That Locks Up the PC

Hello,

I have been experiencing a fatal system crash at random, while playing Path of Exile 2, since Friday. This occurs mostly on zone transition, however can also happen at random.

System Specs:
Ryzen 7 9800x3d
X670E MSI MB
64gb RAM
GeForce 4070ti Super
4tb NVME

Issue is as follows:

Game lags or stops loading at a load screen. The entire PC slows to a crawl and then freezes. ctrl+alt+delete > task manager does not work because the PC is completely locked up.

Work Around: When I open the game, open task manager > details > right click on the PoE exe > set affinity > uncheck 0 and 1. This stops the entire fatal system crash, but did not stop the game from crashing. Using this method, I could see that the screen is frozen, however, if I click around, I can hear my character attacking. I am also able to hard close the game through task manager.

For Tier 1 support:
Uninstalled and reinstalled video drivers.
Video Drivers up to date.
BIOS up to date.
Tried on both the Steam client and the stand alone client. Issue perists across both.

Please let me know what/if any logs you'd like me to attach.

Thanks

Gpu NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER MSI MSI Ventus 3X edition
same here.. I have been getting PC lockups when changing zones
I am also having the same problem. I have to manually shut off the PC.

9800x3d
4080 super
64gb ram ddr5

I even tried undervolting CPU and capping fps, but that did not help.
Having this issue as well unfortunately. Ive tried updating bios, rolling windows back, rolling back GPU drivers, switching to vulcan. Nothing fixes it. Seems to be redlining CPU usage at 100% then pc bricks until restart.
Experiencing same issue here, there a lot of ppl having this problem i think. Besides the "Failed to load texture" error, this is the only main error i get from time to time. Only happens during loading screens for me
yup this thing is still going on. hard locked pc on loading screen!
Same here, the only way that seems to work for me is by turning off the multithreading cpu option before the load and turning it on again after the load.
