Intended or bugged - Atziri's Disdain and Eldritch battery

I have taken eldritch battery (converts all energy shield to mana) and have Atziri's disdain (Gain 30% of maximum life as extra maximum energy shield) equipped.
However, I am gaining ES regardless of eldritch battery. From my understanding the convert only mentions how the % scaling works between stat A/B, so I don't see why it would not get converted from ES to mana.

If this is designed as intended, please let me know.

Having the same issue. I heard it's the same for other "convert to mana" effects. I feel like this should work.

Having the same issue. The 'Gain % of Max Life as Extra Energy Shield' affix is not converted to Energy Shield.
