Heralds not working & not showing up on list of skills

I have the correct amount of spirit needed (30)
The actual skills panel is not showing herald of thunder for me. I exited the client and went back in, I tried unsocketing everything except herald of thunder and same issue persists. Update: I tried other herald skills, same thing happens. It doesn't show up on the skill panel. It doesn't activate despite it showing that I have it equipped. I have seen other people's gameplay, if it worked it would show 0/30. It doesn't for me. It shows I have it equipped but it doesn't work and still shows 30/30. This issue still persists as of 12/13/2024 Update 2: Solved. Apparently, as someone mentioned in a comment, we're supposed to just intuitively know that we have to right-click the little image for the herald on the left side next to the sockets to activate it. I don't think they are supposed to appear. You trigger them from the skill gem window and that's it, they stay up all the time.

" If that's the case then why does my spirit show 30/30. It would show 0/30 because the actual gem RESERVES 30. In other words, my spirit shows 30/30 whether I equip the gem or not, so clearly, nothing is changing.
