Getting hard stuck in Ultimatum with Leap Slam

Some Ultimatum rooms have switches which can open up (and also cut off) certain areas. In one instance, a switch raised up a walkway to get the vaal stone, and while up there I used leap slam, which ended up bringing me down to a lower area which was cutoff from the initial switch.

I was unable to see my character (the lifted walkway was in the way), and there were no switches to pull down there either.

Same! This has happened to me twice in the last two days! Cost me two ultimatums and one death while I was trying to figure out how to get out.
