POE 1 - Disconnect when using Map Device portals.

I've only just made it to the end of the game, so this is the first time I've used the Map Device.

When I enter any of the portals, the game drops me back to the log in screen while in the loading screen. It says this in the bottom corner -

>An unexpected disconnection occurred.

I've tried on my PC and steamdeck, same result.

I've tried verifying game files, running as admin etc... and nothing works.
I have no issue accessing any other parts of the game.

Would appreciate help, as I'm now locked out of the end game completely.

Same problem, there is few posts about this problem. Problem since 6.12 still not fixed.

Same problem here. Entering portal automatically disconnects from server. When you're back all portals are still there.

Entering someone else's portal worked for me, eventually. It took a few tries, but after making it into a portal and killing the boss, I can now map from my base. Doesn't work at the map device on the island though.

posted it days ago, no response what so ever from the support.
this is really bad.
im am playing ssf btw so i catn join another ones map.
