Rattlecage, Earthbreaker problem

Im playing Monk using Wasd controls and ive noticed im having trouble targeting my Tempest bell while fighting this boss. It seems the auto target when im aiming at the boss makes me aim at his hand and not center mass. This causes problems when im trying to target my tempest bell when I place it on the monster. if it lands in the center of the boss my character will still aim for the hand of the boss which is the other direction and ill miss my tempest flurry combo. I try to click directly on the bell but the boss is so big that my mouse will always click on him and then make me attack his hand. Overall I cant really use my tempest bell on this boss unless i hit it from range since the targeting keeps making me got for his hand. Please find a way to change his hitbox to center mass or something, this is really frustrating.
